यः फेनं वमति विनम्यते च मध्ये सोद्वेगम् विलपति चोर्ध्वमीक्षमाणः | ज्वर्येत प्रततमथो वसासगन्धिर्निःसञ्ज्ञो भवति हि नैगमेषजुष्टः ||१६||

The child who vomits foam, becomes extremely restless, and cries while looking upwards, exhibiting fever, a strong body odor, and eventually losing consciousness, is afflicted by the Naigamesha Graha. This child will exhibit these symptoms continuously and is considered to be under the influence of the Naigamesha Graha.

प्रस्तब्धो यः स्तनद्वेषी मुह्यते चाविशन्मुहुः | तं बालमचिराद्धन्ति ग्रहः सम्पूर्णलक्षणः ||१७||

The child who rejects the breast, becomes confused, and repeatedly faints is afflicted by a Graha. When these complete symptoms are present, the child is said to be under the influence of a Graha, and the condition will soon lead to the child's demise.

In the home, the child should be purified by performing ancient rituals, using clarified butter (ghee) in a clean manner to aid in the healing process.
