यः फेनं वमति विनम्यते च मध्ये सोद्वेगम् विलपति चोर्ध्वमीक्षमाणः । ज्वर्येत प्रततमथो वसासगन्धिर्निःसञ्ज्ञो भवति हि नैगमेषजुष्टः ॥१६॥
The child who vomits foam, becomes extremely restless, and cries while looking upwards, exhibiting fever, a strong body odor, and eventually losing consciousness, is afflicted by the Naigamesha Graha. This child will exhibit these symptoms continuously and is considered to be under the influence of the Naigamesha Graha.

जो बच्चा झाग उगलता है, बहुत बेचैन हो जाता है, ऊपर की ओर देखकर रोता है, बुखार, शरीर से तेज़ दुर्गंध आती है और अंततः बेहोश हो जाता है, वह नैगमेश ग्रह से पीड़ित होता है। यह बच्चा लगातार ये लक्षण दिखाएगा और उसे नैगमेश ग्रह के प्रभाव में माना जाता है।

hk transliteration by Sanscriptप्रस्तब्धो यः स्तनद्वेषी मुह्यते चाविशन्मुहुः । तं बालमचिराद्धन्ति ग्रहः सम्पूर्णलक्षणः ॥१७॥
The child who rejects the breast, becomes confused, and repeatedly faints is afflicted by a Graha. When these complete symptoms are present, the child is said to be under the influence of a Graha, and the condition will soon lead to the child's demise.

जो बच्चा स्तन को अस्वीकार करता है, भ्रमित हो जाता है, और बार-बार बेहोश हो जाता है, वह ग्रह से पीड़ित होता है। जब ये सभी लक्षण मौजूद हों, तो बच्चे को ग्रह के प्रभाव में कहा जाता है, और यह स्थिति जल्द ही बच्चे की मृत्यु का कारण बनेगी।

The child who is afflicted by the opposite symptoms (i.e., contrary to the usual treatment indications) should be treated with appropriate remedies as soon as possible. In the home, the child should be purified by performing ancient rituals, using clarified butter (ghee) in a clean manner to aid in the healing process.

Mustard seeds should be sprinkled, and lamps should be lit with oils. Additionally, offerings should always be made, and the ritual fire should be continually maintained for the welfare of the child.

The fire should be adorned with fragrant medicinal herbs and seeds, as well as garlands of flowers. Offerings should be made to the fire with the incantations "Swaha, Swaha" continually.
