क्षौमगुग्गुल्वगुरुभिः सघृतैर्धूपयेच्च तम् । भक्तोपरि हितं सर्पिर्बस्तिकर्म च पूजितम् ॥११॥
The affected ear should be fumigated with the smoke of burning pieces of Kshauma (linen cloth) mixed with Guggulu, and clarified butter. Draughts of clarified butter, along with the application of Shiro-vasti (oil retention on the head), after meals, are also beneficial for the condition.

प्रभावित कान को गुग्गुल और घी में मिलाकर क्षौमा (लिनन के कपड़े) के टुकड़े जलाकर धुआँ देना चाहिए। भोजन के बाद घी की चुस्की लेने के साथ-साथ शिरो-वस्ति (सिर पर तेल जमाना) लगाने से भी लाभ होता है।

In the night, after fasting, the patient should drink clarified butter and then milk. Additionally, nasal administrations (Nasya) and head applications (Shirovasti) should be performed, along with the pouring of liquids on the scalp to provide relief.
