कफेन कण्डूः प्रचितेन कर्णयोर्भृशं भवेत् स्रोतसि कर्णसञ्ज्ञिते । विशोषिते श्लेष्मणि पित्ततेजसा नृणां भवेत् स्रोतसि कर्णगूथकः ॥११॥
When the Kapha causes intense itching in the ears, it becomes evident in the ear canal, and when the mucus (Kapha) dries up, the heat of Pitta acts on it, leading to the condition called Karna-Gutha (mucous accumulation in the ear).
english translation
जब कफ के कारण कानों में तीव्र खुजली होती है, तो यह कान की नली में स्पष्ट हो जाती है, और जब बलगम (कफ) सूख जाता है, तो पित्त की गर्मी उस पर कार्य करती है, जिससे कर्ण-गुहा (कान में बलगम का जमा होना) नामक स्थिति उत्पन्न होती है।
