मातुलुङ्गरसोपेतैः सुखालेपस्तदर्थकृत् । पयस्यासारिवापत्रमञ्जिष्ठामधुकैरपि ॥८९॥
A soothing ointment prepared with the juice of bitter orange (matulunga) is effective for this purpose. It can be further enhanced with milk, Sariva leaves, red madder (manjishtha), and licorice (adhuki) for better results.
