महत्यपि च युञ्जीत क्षाराग्नी विधिकोविदः । स्विन्नां भिन्नां विनिष्पीड्य भिषगञ्जननामिकाम् ॥६॥

"In more severe (larger) cases, a skilled physician should apply cauterization with alkali or fire. After fomenting and incising, the affected part should be pressed, and treated with a preparation known as Anjana."

english translation

"अधिक गंभीर (बड़े) मामलों में, एक कुशल चिकित्सक को क्षार या आग से दागना चाहिए। सिंकाई और चीरा लगाने के बाद, प्रभावित हिस्से को दबाया जाना चाहिए, और अंजना नामक दवा से उपचार करना चाहिए।"

शिलैलानतसिन्धूत्थैः सक्षौद्रैः प्रतिसारयेत् । रसाञ्जनमधुभ्यां तु भित्त्वा वा शस्त्रकर्मवित् ॥७॥

"One should apply a mixture of mountain-creeper juice and honey, or, if skilled in surgery, may pierce the affected part with the same mixture."

"पहाड़ी लता के रस और शहद का मिश्रण लगाना चाहिए, या यदि शल्य चिकित्सा में कुशल हो तो उसी मिश्रण से प्रभावित भाग में छेद कर देना चाहिए।"

प्रतिसार्याञ्जनैर्युञ्ज्यादुष्णैर्दीपशिखोद्भवैः । सम्यक्स्विन्ने कृमिग्रन्थौ भिन्ने स्यात् प्रतिसारणम् ॥८॥

"After thoroughly fomenting the Krimi-granthi (worm-infested swelling) and incising it, one should apply a warm collyrium made from the soot collected from a lamp flame, using it as a rubbing treatment."

english translation

"कृमि-ग्रन्थि (कृमि-ग्रन्थि) को अच्छी तरह से सेंकने और उसमें चीरा लगाने के बाद, दीपक की लौ से एकत्रित कालिख से बने गर्म काजल को रगड़ने के उपचार के रूप में प्रयोग करना चाहिए।"

त्रिफलातुत्थकासीससैन्धवैश्च रसक्रिया । भित्त्वोपनाहं कफजं पिप्पलीमधुसैन्धवैः ॥९॥

"After incising, a Kapha-related swelling (Upanaha) should be treated with a Rasa-kriya solution prepared with Triphala, Tuttha (copper sulfate), Kashisha (green vitriol), and Saindhava (rock salt). It should then be rubbed with a mixture of Pippali, honey, and Saindhava."

english translation

"काटने के बाद, कफ-संबंधी सूजन (उपनाह) का उपचार त्रिफला, तुत्थ (कॉपर सल्फेट), कशीशा (हरा विट्रियल) और सैंधव (सेंधा नमक) से तैयार रस-क्रिया घोल से किया जाना चाहिए। फिर इसे पिप्पली, शहद और सैंधव के मिश्रण से रगड़ना चाहिए।"

लेखयेन्मण्डलाग्रेण समन्तात् प्रच्छयेदपि । संस्नेह्य पत्रभङ्गैश्च स्वेदयित्वा यथासुखम् ॥१०॥

"It should be scraped gently all around with the tip of a Mandalagra instrument. After applying an oleation treatment (Sneha) and covering with soft leaves, it should be comfortably fomented."

"इसे मंडलाग्रा यंत्र की नोक से चारों ओर से धीरे-धीरे खुरचना चाहिए। स्नेहा लगाने और कोमल पत्तियों से ढकने के बाद, इसे आराम से सिंकाई करनी चाहिए।"
