श्रीशुक उवाच तेऽन्योन्यतोऽसुराः पात्रं हरन्तस्त्यक्तसौहृदाः । क्षिपन्तो दस्युधर्माण आयान्तीं ददृशुः स्त्रियम् ।‌। ८-९-१ ॥

Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: Thereafter, the demons became inimical toward one another. Throwing and snatching the container of nectar, they gave up their friendly relationship. Meanwhile, they saw a very beautiful young woman coming forward toward them. ।‌। 8-9-1 ॥

english translation

शुकदेव गोस्वामी ने कहा : तत्पश्चात् असुर एक दूसरे के शत्रु बन गये। उन्होंने अमृत पात्र को फेंकते और छीनते हुए अपना मैत्री-सम्बन्ध तोड़ लिया। इसी बीच उन्होंने देखा कि एक अत्यन्त सुन्दर तरुणी उनकी ओर आ रही है। ।‌। ८-९-१ ॥
