एतद्वेदितुमिच्छामो महत्कौतूहलं हि नः । यज्ञेश्वरस्य पूर्णस्य बन्धनं चाप्यनागसः ॥ ८-१५-२ ॥

And when He got the gift for which He had begged, why did He nonetheless arrest Bali Mahārāja? I am very much anxious to know the mystery of these contradictions. ॥ 8-15-2 ॥

english translation

और जब उन्हें मुँहमाँगा दान मिल गया तो फिर उन्होंने बलि महराज को बन्दी क्यों बनाया? मैं इन विरोधाभासों के रहस्य को जानने के लिए अत्यन्त उत्सुक हूँ। ॥ ८-१५-२ ॥
