एतद्वेदितुमिच्छामो महत्कौतूहलं हि नः । यज्ञेश्वरस्य पूर्णस्य बन्धनं चाप्यनागसः ।। ८-१५-२ ।।

sanskrit

And when He got the gift for which He had begged, why did He nonetheless arrest Bali Mahārāja? I am very much anxious to know the mystery of these contradictions. ।। 8-15-2 ।।

english translation

और जब उन्हें मुँहमाँगा दान मिल गया तो फिर उन्होंने बलि महराज को बन्दी क्यों बनाया? मैं इन विरोधाभासों के रहस्य को जानने के लिए अत्यन्त उत्सुक हूँ। ।। ८-१५-२ ।।
