आसीनमुर्व्यां भगवन्तमाद्यं सङ्कर्षणं देवमकुण्ठसत्त्वम् । विवित्सवस्तत्त्वमतःपरस्य कुमारमुख्या मुनयोऽन्वपृच्छन् ॥ ३-८-३ ॥
Some time ago, being inquisitive to know, Sanat-kumāra, the chief of the boy-saints, accompanied by other great sages, inquired exactly like you about the truths regarding Vāsudeva, the Supreme, from Lord Saṅkarṣaṇa, who is seated at the bottom of the universe. ॥ 3-8-3 ॥

कुछ काल पूर्व तुम्हारी ही तरह कुमार सन्तों में प्रमुख सनत् कुमार ने अन्य महर्षियों के साथ जिज्ञासावश ब्रह्माण्ड की तली में स्थित भगवान् संकर्षण से भगवान् वासुदेव विषयक सत्यों के बारे में पूछा था। ॥ ३-८-३ ॥
