Srimad Bhagavatam
तस्माद्युगान्तश्वसनावघूर्णजलोर्मिचक्रात्सलिलाद्विरूढम् । उपाश्रितः कञ्जमु लोकतत्त्वं नात्मानमद्धाविददादिदेवः ॥ ३-८-१७ ॥
Lord Brahmā, situated in that lotus, could not perfectly understand the creation, the lotus or himself. At the end of the millennium the air of devastation began to move the water and the lotus in great circular waves. ॥ 3-8-17 ॥
english translation
उस कमल पर स्थित ब्रह्मा न तो सृष्टि को, न कमल को, न ही अपने आपको भलीभाँति समझ सके। युग के अन्त में प्रलय वायु जल तथा कमल को बड़ी-बड़ी भँवरों में हिलाने लगी। ॥ ३-८-१७ ॥
