यच्छ्रद्धया श्रुतवत्या च भक्त्या सम्मृज्यमाने हृदयेऽवधाय । ज्ञानेन वैराग्यबलेन धीरा व्रजेम तत्तेऽङ्घ्रिसरोजपीठम् ॥ ३-५-४१ ॥
Simply by hearing about Your lotus feet with eagerness and devotion and by meditating upon them within the heart, one at once becomes enlightened with knowledge, and on the strength of detachment one becomes pacified. We must therefore take shelter of the sanctuary of Your lotus feet. ॥ 3-5-41 ॥

आपके चरणकमलों के विषय में केवल उत्सुकता तथा भक्ति पूर्वक श्रवण करने से तथा उनके विषय में हृदय में ध्यान करने से मनुष्य तुरन्त ही ज्ञान से प्रकाशित और वैराग्य के बल पर शान्त हो जाता है। अतएव हमें आपके चरणकमल रूपी पुण्यालय की शरण ग्रहण करनी चाहिए। ॥ ३-५-४१ ॥

विश्वस्य जन्मस्थितिसंयमार्थे कृतावतारस्य पदाम्बुजं ते । व्रजेम सर्वे शरणं यदीश स्मृतं प्रयच्छत्यभयं स्वपुंसाम् ॥ ३-५-४२ ॥
O Lord, You assume incarnations for the creation, maintenance and dissolution of the cosmic manifestation, and therefore we all take shelter of Your lotus feet because they always award remembrance and courage to Your devotees. ॥ 3-5-42 ॥
english translation
हे प्रभु, आप विराट जगत के सृजन, पालन तथा संहार के लिए अवतरित होते हैं इसलिए हम सभी आपके चरणकमलों की शरण ग्रहण करते हैं, क्योंकि ये चरण आपके भक्तों को सदैव स्मृति तथा साहस प्रदान करने वाले हैं। ॥ ३-५-४२ ॥

यत्सानुबन्धेऽसति देहगेहे ममाहमित्यूढदुराग्रहाणाम् । पुंसां सुदूरं वसतोऽपि पुर्यां भजेम तत्ते भगवन् पदाब्जम् ॥ ३-५-४३ ॥
O Lord, persons who are entangled by undesirable eagerness for the temporary body and kinsmen, and who are bound by thoughts of “mine” and “I,” are unable to see Your lotus feet, although Your lotus feet are situated within their own bodies. But let us take shelter of Your lotus feet. ॥ 3-5-43 ॥

हे प्रभु, जो लोग नश्वर शरीर तथा बन्धु-बाँधवों के प्रति अवांछित उत्सुकता के द्वारा पाशबद्ध हैं और जो लोग “मेरा” तथा “मैं” के विचारों से बँधे हुए हैं, वे आपके चरणकमलों का दर्शन नहीं कर पाते यद्यपि आपके चरणकमल उनके अपने ही शरीरों में स्थित होते हैं। किन्तु हम आपके चरणकमलों की शरण ग्रहण करें। ॥ ३-५-४३ ॥

तान्वै ह्यसद्वृत्तिभिरक्षिभिर्ये पराहृतान्तर्मनसः परेश । अथो न पश्यन्त्युरुगाय नूनं ये ते पदन्यासविलासलक्ष्याः ॥ ३-५-४४ ॥
O great Supreme Lord, offensive persons whose internal vision has been too affected by external materialistic activities cannot see Your lotus feet, but they are seen by Your pure devotees, whose one and only aim is to transcendentally enjoy Your activities. ॥ 3-5-44 ॥

हे महान् परमेश्वर, वे अपराधी व्यक्ति, जिनकी अन्त:दृष्टि बाह्य भौतिकतावादी कार्यकलापों से अत्यधिक प्रभावित हो चुकी होती है वे आपके चरणकमलों का दर्शन नहीं कर सकते, किन्तु आपके शुद्ध भक्त दर्शन कर पाते हैं, क्योंकि उनका एकमात्र उद्देश्य आपके कार्यकलापों का दिव्य भाव से आस्वादन करना है। ॥ ३-५-४४ ॥

पानेन ते देव कथासुधायाः प्रवृद्धभक्त्या विशदाशया ये । वैराग्यसारं प्रतिलभ्य बोधं यथाञ्जसान्वीयुरकुण्ठधिष्ण्यम् ॥ ३-५-४५ ॥
O Lord, persons who, because of their serious attitude, attain the stage of enlightened devotional service achieve the complete meaning of renunciation and knowledge and attain the Vaikuṇṭhaloka in the spiritual sky simply by drinking the nectar of Your topics. ॥ 3-5-45 ॥

हे प्रभु, जो लोग अपनी गम्भीर मनोवृत्ति के कारण प्रबुद्ध भक्ति-मय सेवा की अवस्था प्राप्त करते हैं, वे वैराग्य तथा ज्ञान के संपूर्ण अर्थ को समझ लेते हैं और आपकी कथाओं के अमृत को पीकर ही आध्यात्मिक आकाश में वैकुण्ठलोक को प्राप्त करते हैं। ॥ ३-५-४५ ॥
