Srimad Bhagavatam
देहन्यासं च तस्यैवं धीराणां धैर्यवर्धनम् । अन्येषां दुष्करतरं पशूनां विक्लवात्मनाम् ॥ ३-४-३४ ॥
The Lord’s glorious acts and His acceptance of various transcendental forms for the performance of extraordinary pastimes in the mortal world are very difficult for anyone other than His devotees to understand, and for the beasts they are simply a mental disturbance. ॥ 3-4-34 ॥
english translation
भगवान् के यशस्वी कर्मों तथा मर्त्यलोक में असाधारण लीलाओं को सम्पन्न करने के लिए उनके द्वारा धारण किये जाने वाले विविध दिव्य रूपों को समझ पाना उनके भक्तों के अतिरिक्त अन्य किसी के लिए अत्यन्त कठिन है और पशुओं के लिए तो वे मानसिक विक्षोभ मात्र हैं। ॥ ३-४-३४ ॥
