रजसा कुण्ठमनसः कामात्मानोऽजितेन्द्रियाः । पितॄन् यजन्त्यनुदिनं गृहेष्वभिरताशयाः ।। ३-३२-१७ ।।

sanskrit

Such persons, impelled by the mode of passion, are full of anxieties and always aspire for sense gratification due to uncontrolled senses. They worship the forefathers and are busy day and night improving the economic condition of their family, social or national life. ।। 3-32-17 ।।

english translation

ऐसे लोग, रजोगुण से प्रेरित होकर चिन्ताओं से व्याप्त रहते हैं और इन्द्रियों को वश में न कर सकने के कारण सदैव इन्द्रियतृप्ति की कामना करते रहते हैं। वे पितरों को पूजते हैं और अपने परिवार, सामाजिक या राष्ट्रीय जीवन की आर्थिक स्थिति सुधारने में रात-दिन लगे रहते हैं। ।। ३-३२-१७ ।।
