भूतेन्द्रियान्तःकरणात्प्रधानाज्जीवसंज्ञितात् । आत्मा तथा पृथग् द्रष्टा भगवान् ब्रह्मसंज्ञितः ।। ३-२८-४१ ।।

The Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is known as Parambrahma, is the seer. He is different from the jīva soul, or individual living entity, who is combined with the senses, the five elements and consciousness. ।। 3-28-41 ।।

A yogi should see the same soul in all manifestations, for all that exists is a manifestation of different energies of the Supreme. In this way the devotee should see all living entities without distinction. That is realization of the Supreme Soul. ।। 3-28-42 ।।

As fire is exhibited in different forms of wood, so, under different conditions of the modes of material nature, the pure spirit soul manifests itself in different bodies. ।। 3-28-43 ।।
