बुद्ध्या ब्रह्मापि हृदयं नोदतिष्ठत्तदा विराट् । रुद्रोऽभिमत्या हृदयं नोदतिष्ठत्तदा विराट् ॥ ३-२६-६९ ॥
Brahmā also entered His heart with intelligence, but even then the Cosmic Being could not be prevailed upon to get up. Lord Rudra also entered His heart with the ego, but even then the Cosmic Being did not stir. ॥ 3-26-69 ॥
english translation
ब्रह्मा भी बुद्धि के साथ उसके हृदय में प्रविष्ट हुए, किन्तु तब भी विराट-पुरुष उठने के लिए राजी न हुआ। रुद्र ने भी अहंकार समेत उसके हृदय में प्रवेश किया, किन्तु तो भी वह टस से मस न हुआ। ॥ ३-२६-६९ ॥
