नभसः शब्दतन्मात्रात्कालगत्या विकुर्वतः । स्पर्शोऽभवत्ततो वायुस्त्वक्स्पर्शस्य च सङ्ग्रहः ।। ३-२६-३५ ।।

From ethereal existence, which evolves from sound, the next transformation takes place under the impulse of time, and thus the subtle element touch and thence the air and sense of touch become prominent. ।। 3-26-35 ।।

english translation

ध्वनि उत्पन्न करने वाले आकाश में काल की गति से विकार उत्पन्न होता है और इस तरह स्पर्श तन्मात्र प्रकट होता है। इससे फिर वायु तथा स्पर्श इन्द्रिय उत्पन्न होती है। ।। ३-२६-३५ ।।
