अहम्ममाभिमानोत्थैः कामलोभादिभिर्मलैः । वीतं यदा मनः शुद्धमदुःखमसुखं समम् ।। ३-२५-१६ ।।

sanskrit

When one is completely cleansed of the impurities of lust and greed produced from the false identification of the body as “I” and bodily possessions as “mine,” one’s mind becomes purified. In that pure state he transcends the stage of so-called material happiness and distress. ।। 3-25-16 ।।

english translation

जब मनुष्य शरीर को “मैं” तथा भौतिक पदार्थों को “मेरा” मानने के झूठे भाव से उत्पन्न काम तथा लोभ के विकारों से पूर्णतया मुक्त हो जाता है, तो उसका मन शुद्ध हो जाता है। उस विशुद्धावस्था में वह तथाकथित भौतिक सुख तथा दुख की अवस्था को लाँघ जाता है। ।। ३-२५-१६ ।।
