बर्हिष्मतीं नाम विभुर्यां निर्विश्य समावसत् । तस्यां प्रविष्टो भवनं तापत्रयविनाशनम् ॥ ३-२२-३२ ॥

Having entered the city of Barhiṣmatī, in which he had previously lived, Manu entered his palace, which was filled with an atmosphere that eradicated the three miseries of material existence. ॥ 3-22-32 ॥

english translation

जिस बर्हिष्मती नगरी में मनु पहले से रहते थे उसमें प्रवेश करने के पश्चात् वे अपने महल में गये जो सांसारिक त्रय-तापों को नष्ट करने वाले वातावरण से परिव्याप्त था। ॥ ३-२२-३२ ॥
