श्रीभगवानुवाच सत्यं वयं भो वनगोचरा मृगा युष्मद्विधान् मृगये ग्रामसिंहान् । न मृत्युपाशैः प्रतिमुक्तस्य वीरा विकत्थनं तव गृह्णन्त्यभद्र ।। ३-१८-१० ।।

sanskrit

The Personality of Godhead said: Indeed, We are creatures of the jungle, and We are searching after hunting dogs like you. One who is freed from the entanglement of death has no fear from the loose talk in which you are indulging, for you are bound up by the laws of death. ।। 3-18-10 ।।

english translation

भगवान् ने कहा—सचमुच हम जंगल के प्राणी हैं और तुम जैसे ही शिकारी कुत्तों का हम पीछा कर रहे हैं। जो मृत्यु के बन्धन से मुक्त हो चुका है, वह तुम्हारी आत्मश्लाघा से नहीं डरता, क्योंकि तुम मृत्यु-बन्धन के नियमों से बँधे हुए हो। ।। ३-१८-१० ।।

zrIbhagavAnuvAca satyaM vayaM bho vanagocarA mRgA yuSmadvidhAn mRgaye grAmasiMhAn | na mRtyupAzaiH pratimuktasya vIrA vikatthanaM tava gRhNantyabhadra || 3-18-10 ||
