वैकृतास्त्रय एवैते देवसर्गश्च सत्तम । वैकारिकस्तु यः प्रोक्तः कौमारस्तूभयात्मकः ॥ ३-१०-२६ ॥
O good Vidura, these last three creations and the creation of demigods (the tenth creation) are vaikṛta creations, which are different from the previously described prākṛta (natural) creations. The appearance of the Kumāras is both. ॥ 3-10-26 ॥

हे श्रेष्ठ विदुर, ये अन्तिम तीन सृष्टियाँ तथा देवताओं की सृष्टि (दसवीं सृष्टि) वैकृत सृष्टियाँ हैं, जो पूर्ववर्णित प्राकृत (प्राकृतिक) सृष्टियों से भिन्न हैं। कुमारों का प्राकट्य दोनों ही सृष्टियाँ हैं। ॥ ३-१०-२६ ॥

देवसर्गश्चाष्टविधो विबुधाः पितरोऽसुराः । गन्धर्वाप्सरसः सिद्धा यक्षरक्षांसि चारणाः ॥ ३-१०-२७ ॥
The creation of the demigods is of eight varieties: (1) the demigods, (2) the forefathers, (3) the asuras, or demons, (4) the Gandharvas and Apsarās, or angels, (5) the Yakṣas and Rākṣasas, (6) the Siddhas, Cāraṇas and (7) celestial singers ॥ 3-10-27 ॥

देवताओं की सृष्टि आठ प्रकार की है—(१) देवता (२) पितरगण (३) असुरगण (४) गन्धर्व तथा अप्सराएँ (५) यक्ष तथा राक्षस (६) सिद्ध, चारण तथा (७) देवलोक के गायक ॥ ३-१०-२७ ॥

भूतप्रेतपिशाचाश्च विद्याध्राः किन्नरादयः । दशैते विदुराख्याताः सर्गास्ते विश्वसृक्कृताः ॥ ३-१०-२८ ॥
The Bhūtas, Pretas and Piśācas, and (8) Vidyādharas, the superhuman beings, etc. All are created by Brahmā, the creator of the universe. ॥ 3-10-28 ॥

भूत, प्रेत तथा पिशाच (८) विद्याधर किन्नर-अतिमानवीय प्राणी, इत्यादि। ये सब ब्रह्माण्ड के स्रष्टा ब्रह्मा द्वारा उत्पन्न हैं। ॥ ३-१०-२८ ॥

अतः परं प्रवक्ष्यामि वंशान् मन्वन्तराणि च । एवं रजःप्लुतः स्रष्टा कल्पादिष्वात्मभूर्हरिः । सृजत्यमोघसङ्कल्प आत्मैवात्मानमात्मना ॥ ३-१०-२९ ॥
Now I shall describe the descendants of the Manus. The creator, Brahmā, as the incarnation of the passion mode of the Personality of Godhead, creates the universal affairs with unfailing desires in every millennium by the force of the Lord’s energy. ॥ 3-10-29 ॥

अब मैं मनुओं के वंशजों का वर्णन करूँगा। स्रष्टा ब्रह्मा जो कि भगवान् के रजोगुणी अवतार हैं भगवान् की शक्ति के बल से प्रत्येक कल्प में अचूक इच्छाओं सहित विश्व प्रपंच की सृष्टि करते हैं। ॥ ३-१०-२९ ॥
