यमावुतस्वित्तनयौ पृथायाः पार्थैर्वृतौ पक्ष्मभिरक्षिणीव । रेमात उद्दाय मृधे स्वरिक्थं परात्सुपर्णाविव वज्रिवक्त्रात् ।। ३-१-३९ ।।

Are the twin brothers who are protected by their brothers doing well? Just as the eye is always protected by the eyelid, they are protected by the sons of Pṛthā, who snatched back their rightful kingdom from the hands of their enemy Duryodhana, just as Garuḍa snatched nectar from the mouth of Indra, the thunderbolt carrier. ।। 3-1-39 ।।

english translation

क्या अपने भाइयों के संरक्षण में रह रहे जुड़वाँ भाई कुशल पूर्वक हैं? जिस तरह आँख पलक द्वारा सदैव सुरक्षित रहती है उसी तरह वे पृथा पुत्रों द्वारा संरक्षित हैं जिन्होंने अपने शत्रु दुर्योधन के हाथों से अपना न्यायसंगत साम्राज्य उसी तरह छीन लिया है, जिस तरह गरुड़ ने वज्रधारी इन्द्र के मुख से अमृत छीन लिया था। ।। ३-१-३९ ।।
