यं यं वाञ्छति सा राजन् तर्पयन्त्यनुकम्पिता । तं तं समनयत्कामं कृच्छ्रेणाप्यजितेन्द्रियः ॥ ११-७-५६ ॥
Whenever she desired anything, O King, the she-pigeon would flatteringly cajole her husband, and he in turn would gratify her by faithfully doing whatever she wanted, even with great personal difficulty. Thus, he could not control his senses in her association. ॥ 11-7-56 ॥

जब भी वह कुछ चाहती थी, हे राजा, कबूतरी उसके पति की चापलूसी करती थी, और बदले में वह जो कुछ भी वह चाहती थी, उसे बड़ी व्यक्तिगत कठिनाई के बावजूद ईमानदारी से करके उसे संतुष्ट करता था। इस प्रकार, वह उसकी संगति में अपनी इंद्रियों को नियंत्रित नहीं कर सका। ॥ ११-७-५६ ॥

Then the female pigeon experienced her first pregnancy. When the time arrived, the chaste lady delivered a number of eggs within the nest in the presence of her husband. ॥ 11-7-57 ॥

तब मादा कबूतर को अपनी पहली गर्भावस्था का अनुभव हुआ। समय आने पर पतिव्रता स्त्री ने अपने पति की उपस्थिति में घोंसले में कई अंडे दिये। ॥ ११-७-५७ ॥

When the time was ripe, baby pigeons, with tender limbs and feathers created by the inconceivable potencies of the Lord, were born from those eggs. ॥ 11-7-58 ॥

प्रजाः पुपुषतुः प्रीतौ दम्पती पुत्रवत्सलौ । शृण्वन्तौ कूजितं तासां निर्वृतौ कलभाषितैः ॥ ११-७-५९ ॥
The two pigeons became most affectionate to their children and took great pleasure in listening to their awkward chirping, which sounded very sweet to the parents. Thus with love they began to raise the little birds who were born of them. ॥ 11-7-59 ॥

दोनों कबूतर अपने बच्चों के प्रति सबसे अधिक स्नेही हो गए और उनकी अजीब सी चहचहाहट को सुनकर बहुत आनंद लेते थे, जो माता-पिता को बहुत प्यारी लगती थी। इस प्रकार वे अपने से उत्पन्न हुए छोटे-छोटे पक्षियों को प्रेम से पालने लगे। ॥ ११-७-५९ ॥

तासां पतत्रैः सुस्पर्शैः कूजितैर्मुग्धचेष्टितैः । प्रत्युद्गमैरदीनानां पितरौ मुदमापतुः ॥ ११-७-६० ॥
The parent birds became very joyful by observing the soft wings of their children, their chirping, their lovely innocent movements around the nest and their attempts to jump up and fly. Seeing their children happy, the parents were also happy. ॥ 11-7-60 ॥

अपने बच्चों के कोमल पंख, उनकी चहचहाहट, घोंसले के चारों ओर उनकी प्यारी मासूम हरकतें और उछलकर उड़ने की उनकी कोशिशों को देखकर माता-पिता पक्षी बहुत खुश हो गए। अपने बच्चों को खुश देखकर माता-पिता भी खुश थे। ॥ ११-७-६० ॥
