स्नेहानुबद्धहृदयावन्योन्यं विष्णुमायया । विमोहितौ दीनधियौ शिशून् पुपुषतुः प्रजाः ॥ ११-७-६१ ॥
Their hearts bound to each other by affection, the foolish birds, completely bewildered by the illusory energy of Lord Viṣṇu, continued to take care of the young offspring who had been born to them. ॥ 11-7-61 ॥

उनके हृदय स्नेह से एक-दूसरे से बंधे हुए थे, मूर्ख पक्षी, भगवान विष्णु की माया शक्ति से पूरी तरह से भ्रमित होकर, उनसे पैदा हुई युवा संतानों की देखभाल करते रहे। ॥ ११-७-६१ ॥

एकदा जग्मतुस्तासामन्नार्थं तौ कुटुम्बिनौ । परितः कानने तस्मिन्नर्थिनौ चेरतुश्चिरम् ॥ ११-७-६२ ॥
One day the two heads of the family went out to find food for the children. Being very anxious to feed their offspring properly, they wandered all over the forest for a long time. ॥ 11-7-62 ॥

एक दिन परिवार के दो मुखिया बच्चों के लिए खाना ढूंढने निकले। अपनी संतानों को ठीक से खिलाने के लिए बहुत चिंतित होने के कारण, वे लंबे समय तक पूरे जंगल में घूमते रहे। ॥ ११-७-६२ ॥

दृष्ट्वा तान् लुब्धकः कश्चिद्यदृच्छातो वनेचरः । जगृहे जालमातत्य चरतः स्वालयान्तिके ॥ ११-७-६३ ॥
At that time a certain hunter who happened to be wandering through the forest saw the young pigeons moving about near their nest. Spreading out his net he captured them all. ॥ 11-7-63 ॥

उसी समय एक शिकारी, जो जंगल में घूम रहा था, ने कबूतरों के बच्चों को अपने घोंसले के पास घूमते हुए देखा। उसने अपना जाल फैलाकर उन सभी को पकड़ लिया। ॥ ११-७-६३ ॥

The pigeon and his wife were always anxious for the maintenance of their children, and they were wandering in the forest for that purpose. Having obtained proper food, they now returned to their nest. ॥ 11-7-64 ॥

कबूतर और उसकी पत्नी अपने बच्चों के भरण-पोषण के लिए सदैव चिंतित रहते थे और इसी उद्देश्य से वे जंगल में भटकते रहते थे। उचित भोजन पाकर वे अब अपने घोंसले में लौट आये। ॥ ११-७-६४ ॥

कपोती स्वात्मजान् वीक्ष्य बालकान् जालसंवृतान् । तानभ्यधावत्क्रोशन्ती क्रोशतो भृशदुःखिता ॥ ११-७-६५ ॥
When the lady pigeon caught sight of her own children trapped within the hunter’s net, she was overwhelmed with anguish, and crying out, she rushed toward them as they cried out to her in return. ॥ 11-7-65 ॥

जब मादा कबूतर ने शिकारी के जाल में फंसे अपने बच्चों को देखा, तो वह पीड़ा से अभिभूत हो गई और रोते हुए, वह उनकी ओर दौड़ पड़ी, जैसे ही वे उसे चिल्लाने लगे। ॥ ११-७-६५ ॥
