I stand sustaining this whole universe with a fragment of Mine (of My power).

I am the brilliance of the brilliant. I am victory of the victorious, I am effort of the persevering.I am the sattvam, sattva ality; (The result of sattva, viz virtue, knowledge, detachment, etc.) sattvavatam, of those possessed of sattva.

    अक्षराणामकारोऽस्मि द्वन्द्वः सामासिकस्य च । अहमेवाक्षयः कालो धाताहं विश्वतोमुखः ॥ १०-३३॥akSarANAmakAro'smi dvandvaH sAmAsikasya ca । ahamevAkSayaH kAlo dhAtAhaM vizvatomukhaH ॥ 10-33॥Of letters, I am the alphabet 'a' ( Akaar ) and of the group of compund words I am (the compound called) Dvandva. I am Myself imperishable Time ( Mahakaal ). I am the dispenser (of the fruits of actions, Virat svaroop ) having faces in all directions.

    प्रह्लादश्चास्मि दैत्यानां कालः कलयतामहम् । मृगाणां च मृगेन्द्रोऽहं वैनतेयश्च पक्षिणाम् ॥ १०-३०॥prahlAdazcAsmi daityAnAM kAlaH kalayatAmaham । mRgANAM ca mRgendro'haM vainateyazca pakSiNAm ॥ 10-30॥I am Prahlada among the demons, among the reckoners I am time; among beasts I am the lion ( Mrigendra ), and Vainateya (Garuda) among birds.

    परस्तस्मात्तु भावोऽन्योऽव्यक्तोऽव्यक्तात्सनातनः । यः स सर्वेषु भूतेषु नश्यत्सु न विनश्यति ॥ ८-२०॥parastasmAttu bhAvo'nyo'vyakto'vyaktAtsanAtanaH । yaH sa sarveSu bhUteSu nazyatsu na vinazyati ॥ 8-20॥But verily there exists, higher than this Unmanifested , another unmanifested Eternal, which is not destroyed when all beings are destroyed.
