These have been killed verily by Me even earlier; be you merely an instrument, O Savyasachin (Arjuna, ambidextrous archer).

Your fiery rays scorch the entire universe filling it with their radiance.

Some are seen sticking in the gaps between the teeth, with their heads crushed!

    नभःस्पृशं दीप्तमनेकवर्णं व्यात्ताननं दीप्तविशालनेत्रम् । दृष्ट्वा हि त्वां प्रव्यथितान्तरात्मा धृतिं न विन्दामि शमं च विष्णो ॥ ११-२४॥nabhaHspRzaM dIptamanekavarNaM vyAttAnanaM dIptavizAlanetram । dRSTvA hi tvAM pravyathitAntarAtmA dhRtiM na vindAmi zamaM ca viSNo ॥ 11-24॥O Vishno, verily, seeing Your ( Cosmic ) form touching the sky,blazing, with many colors, with mouths wide open, with large fiery eyes, I , becoming terrified in my mind, do not find steadiness and peace.

    अमी हि त्वां सुरसङ्घा विशन्ति केचिद्भीताः प्राञ्जलयो गृणन्ति । स्वस्तीत्युक्त्वा महर्षिसिद्धसङ्घाः स्तुवन्ति त्वां स्तुतिभिः पुष्कलाभिः ॥ ११-२१॥amI hi tvAM surasaGghA vizanti kecidbhItAH prAJjalayo gRNanti । svastItyuktvA maharSisiddhasaGghAH stuvanti tvAM stutibhiH puSkalAbhiH ॥ 11-21॥Those very groups of gods enter into You; struck with fear, some extol (You) with joined palms. Groups of great sages and Siddhas ( perfected beings ) praise You with elaborate hymns,saying 'Kalyan ho ( May it be well )!'

You are the Supreme Substratum of this universe. You are the imperishable protector of the Sanatan Dhrama ( eternal law ); I know You are the Sanatan Purush ( Supreme eternal Person ) who is everlasting.

    अर्जुन उवाच । पश्यामि देवांस्तव देव देहे सर्वांस्तथा भूतविशेषसङ्घान् । ब्रह्माणमीशं कमलासनस्थ- मृषींश्च सर्वानुरगांश्च दिव्यान् ॥ ११-१५॥arjuna uvAca । pazyAmi devAMstava deva dehe sarvAMstathA bhUtavizeSasaGghAn । brahmANamIzaM kamalAsanastha- mRSIMzca sarvAnuragAMzca divyAn ॥ 11-15॥Arjuna said O Dev ( Shri Krishna ), I see in Your body all the gods as also hosts of (various) classes of beings; Brahma the ruler, sitting on a lotus seat, and all the heavely sages and serpents.
