    दैवी सम्पद्विमोक्षाय निबन्धायासुरी मता । मा शुचः सम्पदं दैवीमभिजातोऽसि पाण्डव ॥ १६-५॥daivI sampadvimokSAya nibandhAyAsurI matA । mA zucaH sampadaM daivImabhijAto'si pANDava ॥ 16-5॥O Pandav ( Arjun )! The divine nature is deemed to lead to liberation, the demoniac to bondage. Do not grieve, as you posses with divine nature.

    दम्भो दर्पोऽभिमानश्च क्रोधः पारुष्यमेव च । अज्ञानं चाभिजातस्य पार्थ सम्पदमासुरीम् ॥ १६-४॥dambho darpo'bhimAnazca krodhaH pAruSyameva ca । ajJAnaM cAbhijAtasya pArtha sampadamAsurIm ॥ 16-4॥O Parth ( Arjun )! Pomposity, arrogance, self-conceit, wrath, rudeness and ignorance - these belong to him who possesses demonic nature.

    अनुबन्धं क्षयं हिंसामनपेक्ष्य च पौरुषम् । मोहादारभ्यते कर्म यत्तत्तामसमुच्यते ॥ १८-२५॥anubandhaM kSayaM hiMsAmanapekSya ca pauruSam । mohAdArabhyate karma yattattAmasamucyate ॥ 18-25॥That action is said to be born of tamas which is undertaken out of delusion, (and) without consideration of its consequence, loss, harm and ability.
