Kaikeyi, your sorrow will augment my sorrow. Your prosperity would mean my prosperity. There is no doubt about this. ॥ 2-7-22॥

Their own glory was dimmed in his lustre". Afflicted with anguish, they spoke to the Grandfather (Brahma): ॥ 1-65-10॥

It appeared as though they were on fire. Thereupon devatas along with gandharvas, pannagas, uragas, and rakshasas - ॥ 1-65-9॥

    अथ वर्षसहस्रं च नोच्छ्वसन्मुनिपुंगवः । तस्यानुच्छ्वसमानस्य मूर्ध्नि धूमो व्यजायत ॥ १-६५-८atha varSasahasraM ca nocchvasanmunipuMgavaH । tasyAnucchvasamAnasya mUrdhni dhUmo vyajAyata ॥ 1-65-8That eminent saint remained without respiration for another thousand years. While his breath, was suspended, fumes emanated from his head . - ॥ 1-65-8॥
