    एवमेतैरिदं सर्वं मन्नियोगान् महात्मभिः । यथाकर्म तपोयोगात् सृष्टं स्थावरजङ्गमम् ॥ ४१ ॥evametairidaM sarvaM manniyogAn mahAtmabhiH । yathAkarma tapoyogAt sRSTaM sthAvarajaGgamam ॥ 41 ॥Thus was this whole (creation), both the immovable and the movable, produced by those high-minded ones by means of austerities and at my command, (each being) according to (the results of) its actions.

He should be merciful to those in an inferior position to him, cultivate friendship with those on an equal level and meekly serve those in a higher spiritual position. Thus he should learn to deal properly with all living beings. ॥ 11-3-23 ॥

Then, as the two of them stood before Him with joined palms, the almighty Mahā-Viṣṇu, supreme master of all rulers of the universe, smiled and spoke to them in a voice full of solemn authority. ॥ 10-89-58 ॥

    स त्वं कथं मम विभोऽक्षिपथः परात्मा योगेश्वरैः श्रुतिदृशामलहृद्विभाव्यः । साक्षादधोक्षज उरुव्यसनान्धबुद्धेः स्यान्मेऽनुदृश्य इह यस्य भवापवर्गः ॥ १०-६४-२६ ॥sa tvaM kathaM mama vibho'kSipathaH parAtmA yogezvaraiH zrutidRzAmalahRdvibhAvyaH । sAkSAdadhokSaja uruvyasanAndhabuddheH syAnme'nudRzya iha yasya bhavApavargaH ॥ 10-64-26 ॥O almighty one, how is it that my eyes see You here before me? You are the Supreme Soul, whom the greatest masters of mystic yoga can meditate upon within their pure hearts only by employing the spiritual eye of the Vedas. Then how, O transcendental Lord, are You directly visible to me, since my intelligence has been blinded by the severe tribulations of material life? Only one who has finished his material entanglement in this world should be able to see You. ॥ 10-64-26 ॥

Therefore even till now I have never forgotten ॥ my past life॥. ॥ 10-64-25 ॥
