And the Earth was filled with water all around. And the cool, clear water reached even the nether regions. And there were countless waves of water all over the Earth.' ॥ 1-22-5 ॥

    आकाशात् तु विकुर्वाणात् सर्वगन्धवहः शुचिः । बलवाञ्जायते वायुः स वै स्पर्शगुणो मतः ॥ ७६ ॥AkAzAt tu vikurvANAt sarvagandhavahaH zuciH । balavAJjAyate vAyuH sa vai sparzaguNo mataH ॥ 76 ॥But from ether, modifying itself, springs the pure, powerful wind, the vehicle of all perfumes; that is held to possess the quality of touch.
