    विनीतैस्तु व्रजेन्नित्यमाशुगैर्लक्षणान्वितैः । वर्णरूपोपसम्पन्नैः प्रतोदेनातुदन् भृशम् ॥ ६८ ॥vinItaistu vrajennityamAzugairlakSaNAnvitaiH । varNarUpopasampannaiH pratodenAtudan bhRzam ॥ 68 ॥Let him always travel with (beasts) which are well broken in, swift, endowed with lucky marks, and perfect in colour and form, without urging them much with the goad.

This is the famous kapal-bhastri, which removes all the diseases.

    यावदुष्मा भवत्यन्नं यावदश्नन्ति वाग्यताः । पितरस्तावदश्नन्ति यावन्नओक्ता हविर्गुणाः ॥ २३७ ॥yAvaduSmA bhavatyannaM yAvadaznanti vAgyatAH । pitarastAvadaznanti yAvannaoktA havirguNAH ॥ 237 ॥As long as the food remains warm, as long as they eat in silence, as long as the qualities of the food are not proclaimed, so long the manes partake (of it).

    अत्युष्णं सर्वमन्नं स्याद् भुञ्जीरंस्ते च वाग्यताः । न च द्विजातयो ब्रूयुर्दात्रा पृष्टा हविर्गुणान् ॥ २३६ ॥atyuSNaM sarvamannaM syAd bhuJjIraMste ca vAgyatAH । na ca dvijAtayo brUyurdAtrA pRSTA havirguNAn ॥ 236 ॥All the food must be very hot, and the (guests) shall eat in silence; (even though) asked by the giver (of the feast), the Brahmanas shall not proclaim the qualities of the sacrificial food.
