    न हि वर्णविभेदेन देहभेदेन वा भवेत् । परत्वम् निष्कलत्वेन सकलत्वे न तद्भवेत् ॥ ६ ॥na hi varNavibhedena dehabhedena vA bhavet । paratvam niSkalatvena sakalatve na tadbhavet ॥ 6 ॥Paratva, or transcendence, cannot exist in the divisions of varna (colour), shabda (sound) or roopa (form). If transcendence is indivisible, then it cannot be defined or co- exist with composite parts.

    वेदमेवाभ्यसेन्नित्यं यथाकालमतन्द्रितः । तं ह्यस्याहुः परं धर्ममुपधर्मोऽन्य उच्यते ॥ १४७ ॥vedamevAbhyasennityaM yathAkAlamatandritaH । taM hyasyAhuH paraM dharmamupadharmo'nya ucyate ॥ 147 ॥Let him, without tiring, daily mutter the Veda at the proper time; for they declare that to be one’s highest duty; (all) other (observances) are called secondary duties.
