( the vulture who protested ). Very soon you will be relieved of the grief caused by the separation from your wife. ॥ 4-6-4॥

    गगनान्न्यपतत्सद्यः सविमानो ह्यवाक्शिराः । स वालखिल्यवचनादस्थीन्यादाय विस्मितः । प्रास्य प्राचीसरस्वत्यां स्नात्वा धाम स्वमन्वगात् ॥ ६-८-४० ॥gaganAnnyapatatsadyaH savimAno hyavAkzirAH । sa vAlakhilyavacanAdasthInyAdAya vismitaH । prAsya prAcIsarasvatyAM snAtvA dhAma svamanvagAt ॥ 6-8-40 ॥Suddenly Citraratha was forced to fall from the sky headfirst with his airplane. Struck with wonder, he was ordered by the great sages named the Vālikhilyas to throw the brāhmaṇa’s bones in the nearby river Sarasvatī. He had to do this and bathe in the river before returning to his own abode. ॥ 6-8-40 ॥

    तस्योपरि विमानेन गन्धर्वपतिरेकदा । ययौ चित्ररथः स्त्रीभिर्वृतो यत्र द्विजक्षयः ॥ ६-८-३९ ॥tasyopari vimAnena gandharvapatirekadA । yayau citrarathaH strIbhirvRto yatra dvijakSayaH ॥ 6-8-39 ॥Surrounded by many beautiful women, Citraratha, the King of Gandharvaloka, was once passing in his airplane over the brāhmaṇa’s body at the spot where the brāhmaṇa had died. ॥ 6-8-39 ॥

    न कुतश्चिद्भयं तस्य विद्यां धारयतो भवेत् । राजदस्युग्रहादिभ्यो व्याध्यादिभ्यश्च कर्हिचित् ॥ ६-८-३७ ॥na kutazcidbhayaM tasya vidyAM dhArayato bhavet । rAjadasyugrahAdibhyo vyAdhyAdibhyazca karhicit ॥ 6-8-37 ॥This prayer, Nārāyaṇa-kavaca, constitutes subtle knowledge transcendentally connected with Nārāyaṇa. One who employs this prayer is never disturbed or put in danger by the government, by plunderers, by evil demons or by any type of disease. ॥ 6-8-37 ॥
