    न कालः कालमत्येति न कालः परिहीयते । स्वभावं च समासाद्य न कश्चिदतिवर्तते ॥ ४-२५-६na kAlaH kAlamatyeti na kAlaH parihIyate । svabhAvaM ca samAsAdya na kazcidativartate ॥ 4-25-6'God (though independent) does not deviate from Time. Time cannot be escaped or trangressed. It cannot be condoned or avoided. No one can transgress their own nature. ॥ 4-25-6॥

No one including God can be the agent of action. No one has the power to entrust duty to others. This entire world is governed by one's own nature. Nature in turn is governed by Time (fate). ॥ 4-25-5॥

You have shed tears enough. Time is passing. You cannot perform the funeral after the lapse of appropriate time. ॥ 4-25-3॥

    न शोकपरितापेन श्रेयसा युज्यते मृतः । यदत्रानन्तरं कार्यं तत्समाधातुमर्हथ ॥ ४-२५-२na zokaparitApena zreyasA yujyate mRtaH । yadatrAnantaraM kAryaM tatsamAdhAtumarhatha ॥ 4-25-2'No lamentation revives the dead. So you should take up whatever is required now. ॥ 4-25-2॥

Furthermore, give me all the mystic powers attained by long austerities and the practice of yoga, for these cannot be lost at any time. ॥ 7-3-38 ॥

    व्यसुभिर्वासुमद्भिर्वा सुरासुरमहोरगैः । अप्रतिद्वन्द्वतां युद्धे ऐकपत्यं च देहिनाम् ॥ ७-३-३७ ॥vyasubhirvAsumadbhirvA surAsuramahoragaiH । apratidvandvatAM yuddhe aikapatyaM ca dehinAm ॥ 7-3-37 ॥Grant me that I not meet death from any entity, living or nonliving. Grant me, further, that I not be killed by any demigod or demon or by any great snake from the lower planets. Since no one can kill you in the battlefield, you have no competitor. Therefore, grant me the benediction that I too may have no rival. ॥ 7-3-37 ॥

    नान्तर्बहिर्दिवा नक्तमन्यस्मादपि चायुधैः । न भूमौ नाम्बरे मृत्युर्न नरैर्न मृगैरपि ॥ ७-३-३६ ॥nAntarbahirdivA naktamanyasmAdapi cAyudhaiH । na bhUmau nAmbare mRtyurna narairna mRgairapi ॥ 7-3-36 ॥Grant me that I not die within any residence or outside any residence, during the daytime or at night, nor on the ground or in the sky. Grant me that my death not be brought by any being other than those created by you, nor by any weapon, nor by any human being or animal. ॥ 7-3-36 ॥

    अनन्ताव्यक्तरूपेण येनेदमखिलं ततम् । चिदचिच्छक्तियुक्ताय तस्मै भगवते नमः ॥ ७-३-३४ ॥anantAvyaktarUpeNa yenedamakhilaM tatam । cidacicchaktiyuktAya tasmai bhagavate namaH ॥ 7-3-34 ॥Let me offer my respectful obeisances unto the Supreme, who in his unlimited, unmanifested form has expanded the cosmic manifestation, the form of the totality of the universe. He possesses external and internal energies and the mixed energy called the marginal potency, which consists of all the living entities. ॥ 7-3-34 ॥
