त्रिर्या॑तु॒धान॒: प्रसि॑तिं त एत्वृ॒तं यो अ॑ग्ने॒ अनृ॑तेन॒ हन्ति॑ । तम॒र्चिषा॑ स्फू॒र्जय॑ञ्जातवेदः सम॒क्षमे॑नं गृण॒ते नि वृ॑ङ्धि ॥ त्रिर्यातुधानः प्रसितिं त एत्वृतं यो अग्ने अनृतेन हन्ति । तमर्चिषा स्फूर्जयञ्जातवेदः समक्षमेनं गृणते नि वृङ्धि ॥
he three demons, Prasiti, are the ones who kill the fire with falsehood. The fire that burns with its flames is calling him in the presence of the Lord. Cast, Agni, upon the two roaring (rākṣasas) that eye wherewith you behold the Yātudhāna strikingwith his hoof; like Atharvan with celestial radiance burn down the ignorant (rākṣasas), who assails truth withfalsehood.

Destroy the Yātudhānas with your scorching fire; destroy the rākṣasas, Agni, with your heat;destroy with your radiance those who believe in vaid gods, fiercely blazing, destroy the insatiable.

Let all the gods today destroy the murderous (Yātudhāna); let our sharp imprecations encounterhim; may the arrows hit the speaker of falsehood in a vital part; may the Yātudhāna go into the bondage of theall-pervading Agni.
