तां सु ते॑ की॒र्तिं म॑घवन्महि॒त्वा यत्त्वा॑ भी॒ते रोद॑सी॒ अह्व॑येताम् । प्रावो॑ दे॒वाँ आति॑रो॒ दास॒मोज॑: प्र॒जायै॑ त्वस्यै॒ यदशि॑क्ष इन्द्र ॥ तां सु ते कीर्तिं मघवन्महित्वा यत्त्वा भीते रोदसी अह्वयेताम् । प्रावो देवाँ आतिरो दासमोजः प्रजायै त्वस्यै यदशिक्ष इन्द्र ॥
(I celebrate), Maghavat, the great glory (you have acquired) by your might; when heaven and earthalarmed called upon you, you did defend the gods, and destroy (their) adversary; (I celebrate your glory), Indra,in that you gave strength to one person(the worshipper).
english translation
यदच॑रस्त॒न्वा॑ वावृधा॒नो बला॑नीन्द्र प्रब्रुवा॒णो जने॑षु । मा॒येत्सा ते॒ यानि॑ यु॒द्धान्या॒हुर्नाद्य शत्रुं॑ न॒नु पु॒रा वि॑वित्से ॥ यदचरस्तन्वा वावृधानो बलानीन्द्र प्रब्रुवाणो जनेषु । मायेत्सा ते यानि युद्धान्याहुर्नाद्य शत्रुं ननु पुरा विवित्से ॥
When you proceed, Indra, increasing in form, and proclaiming your prowess among mankind, false isthat your (wandering), false the combats which you have narrated; you (find) now no enemy (to attack), did youformerly find one? person n you have genitive rated at once both mother and father (or earth and heaven)?
english translation
क उ॒ नु ते॑ महि॒मन॑: समस्या॒स्मत्पूर्व॒ ऋष॒योऽन्त॑मापुः । यन्मा॒तरं॑ च पि॒तरं॑ च सा॒कमज॑नयथास्त॒न्व१॒॑: स्वाया॑: ॥ क उ नु ते महिमनः समस्यास्मत्पूर्व ऋषयोऽन्तमापुः । यन्मातरं च पितरं च साकमजनयथास्तन्वः स्वायाः ॥
What is the problem of your glory that the sages before us have ended? You gave birth to your mother and father along with your own body. What is the problem with your glory? The sages before us have come to an end. The Lord gave birth to His mother and father, just as He gave birth to His own body.

च॒त्वारि॑ ते असु॒र्या॑णि॒ नामादा॑भ्यानि महि॒षस्य॑ सन्ति । त्वम॒ङ्ग तानि॒ विश्वा॑नि वित्से॒ येभि॒: कर्मा॑णि मघवञ्च॒कर्थ॑ ॥ चत्वारि ते असुर्याणि नामादाभ्यानि महिषस्य सन्ति । त्वमङ्ग तानि विश्वानि वित्से येभिः कर्माणि मघवञ्चकर्थ ॥
Four are the asura-slaying uninjurable forms of you the mighty one: you know them all wherewith,Maghavat, you have achieved your exploits.
english translation
त्वं विश्वा॑ दधिषे॒ केव॑लानि॒ यान्या॒विर्या च॒ गुहा॒ वसू॑नि । काम॒मिन्मे॑ मघव॒न्मा वि ता॑री॒स्त्वमा॑ज्ञा॒ता त्वमि॑न्द्रासि दा॒ता ॥ त्वं विश्वा दधिषे केवलानि यान्याविर्या च गुहा वसूनि । काममिन्मे मघवन्मा वि तारीस्त्वमाज्ञाता त्वमिन्द्रासि दाता ॥
You have in your keeping all treasures, which are yours exclusively, whether they be manifest orhidden; thwart not, therefore, Maghavat, my desire (for wealth); for you are cognizant (of my desire), you are the donor.
