प्र सु ग्मन्ता॑ धियसा॒नस्य॑ स॒क्षणि॑ व॒रेभि॑र्व॒राँ अ॒भि षु प्र॒सीद॑तः । अ॒स्माक॒मिन्द्र॑ उ॒भयं॑ जुजोषति॒ यत्सो॒म्यस्यान्ध॑सो॒ बुबो॑धति ॥ प्र सु ग्मन्ता धियसानस्य सक्षणि वरेभिर्वराँ अभि षु प्रसीदतः । अस्माकमिन्द्र उभयं जुजोषति यत्सोम्यस्यान्धसो बुबोधति ॥

sanskrit

Indra sends his quick-going horses to the service of the (worshipper) expectant (of his arrival); may hecome to the excellent (adorations) of the (worshipper), propitiating him by suitable means; Indra is gratified byboth our (oblations and praises), when he recognizes (the taste) of the food presented by the offerer of the Soma.

english translation

pra su gmantA॑ dhiyasA॒nasya॑ sa॒kSaNi॑ va॒rebhi॑rva॒rA~ a॒bhi Su pra॒sIda॑taH | a॒smAka॒mindra॑ u॒bhayaM॑ jujoSati॒ yatso॒myasyAndha॑so॒ bubo॑dhati || pra su gmantA dhiyasAnasya sakSaNi varebhirvarA~ abhi Su prasIdataH | asmAkamindra ubhayaM jujoSati yatsomyasyAndhaso bubodhati ||

वी॑न्द्र यासि दि॒व्यानि॑ रोच॒ना वि पार्थि॑वानि॒ रज॑सा पुरुष्टुत । ये त्वा॒ वह॑न्ति॒ मुहु॑रध्व॒राँ उप॒ ते सु व॑न्वन्तु वग्व॒नाँ अ॑रा॒धस॑: ॥ वीन्द्र यासि दिव्यानि रोचना वि पार्थिवानि रजसा पुरुष्टुत । ये त्वा वहन्ति मुहुरध्वराँ उप ते सु वन्वन्तु वग्वनाँ अराधसः ॥

Indra, who is praised by many, you pervade the luminaries of heaven and earth with your lustre; maythe horses that repeatedly bring you to our sacrifices, plural ased by our praise, bring affluence to us who are poor.

english translation

vI॑ndra yAsi di॒vyAni॑ roca॒nA vi pArthi॑vAni॒ raja॑sA puruSTuta | ye tvA॒ vaha॑nti॒ muhu॑radhva॒rA~ upa॒ te su va॑nvantu vagva॒nA~ a॑rA॒dhasa॑: || vIndra yAsi divyAni rocanA vi pArthivAni rajasA puruSTuta | ye tvA vahanti muhuradhvarA~ upa te su vanvantu vagvanA~ arAdhasaH ||

तदिन्मे॑ छन्त्स॒द्वपु॑षो॒ वपु॑ष्टरं पु॒त्रो यज्जानं॑ पि॒त्रोर॒धीय॑ति । जा॒या पतिं॑ वहति व॒ग्नुना॑ सु॒मत्पुं॒स इद्भ॒द्रो व॑ह॒तुः परि॑ष्कृतः ॥ तदिन्मे छन्त्सद्वपुषो वपुष्टरं पुत्रो यज्जानं पित्रोरधीयति । जाया पतिं वहति वग्नुना सुमत्पुंस इद्भद्रो वहतुः परिष्कृतः ॥

May (Indra) desire for me this (act of sacrifice). The most beautiful of beautiful things, (as) when a sonproclaims his birth from his parents. The wife brings her husband (to her side) with genitive le words; the goodfortune of the husband is perfected only as marriage.

tadinme॑ chantsa॒dvapu॑So॒ vapu॑STaraM pu॒tro yajjAnaM॑ pi॒trora॒dhIya॑ti | jA॒yA patiM॑ vahati va॒gnunA॑ su॒matpuM॒sa idbha॒dro va॑ha॒tuH pari॑SkRtaH || tadinme chantsadvapuSo vapuSTaraM putro yajjAnaM pitroradhIyati | jAyA patiM vahati vagnunA sumatpuMsa idbhadro vahatuH pariSkRtaH ||

तदित्स॒धस्थ॑म॒भि चारु॑ दीधय॒ गावो॒ यच्छास॑न्वह॒तुं न धे॒नव॑: । मा॒ता यन्मन्तु॑र्यू॒थस्य॑ पू॒र्व्याभि वा॒णस्य॑ स॒प्तधा॑तु॒रिज्जन॑: ॥ तदित्सधस्थमभि चारु दीधय गावो यच्छासन्वहतुं न धेनवः । माता यन्मन्तुर्यूथस्य पूर्व्याभि वाणस्य सप्तधातुरिज्जनः ॥

Shine, Indra, upon this elegant chamber of sacrifice when our praises desire (your approach) as kine(desire) their stalls; since the praise of (me) the worshipper precedes (the adoration) of the company, and thisperson accompanied by the seven officiating priests is the offerer of praise.

taditsa॒dhastha॑ma॒bhi cAru॑ dIdhaya॒ gAvo॒ yacchAsa॑nvaha॒tuM na dhe॒nava॑: | mA॒tA yanmantu॑ryU॒thasya॑ pU॒rvyAbhi vA॒Nasya॑ sa॒ptadhA॑tu॒rijjana॑: || taditsadhasthamabhi cAru dIdhaya gAvo yacchAsanvahatuM na dhenavaH | mAtA yanmanturyUthasya pUrvyAbhi vANasya saptadhAturijjanaH ||

प्र वोऽच्छा॑ रिरिचे देव॒युष्प॒दमेको॑ रु॒द्रेभि॑र्याति तु॒र्वणि॑: । ज॒रा वा॒ येष्व॒मृते॑षु दा॒वने॒ परि॑ व॒ ऊमे॑भ्यः सिञ्चता॒ मधु॑ ॥ प्र वोऽच्छा रिरिचे देवयुष्पदमेको रुद्रेभिर्याति तुर्वणिः । जरा वा येष्वमृतेषु दावने परि व ऊमेभ्यः सिञ्चता मधु ॥

The devout (priest) excels (going) towards your plural ce of worship; the quick-moving (Indra), the chief(of the priests), proceeds with the Rudras, (the Maruts); sprinkle the exhilarating (Soma with water) for theprotecting (deities), the immortals among whom praise is (able) to procure wealth.
