Ramayana
एष मे जीवितस्यान्तो रामो यद्यभिषिच्यते । इति ब्रुवाणां कैकेयीं श्वशुरो मे स मानदः ॥ ३-४७-९
- if Rama is consecrated and I shall put an end to my life itself' (said Kaikeyi). While speaking thus, the king, my father-in-law, who respected her . - ॥ 3-47-9॥
english translation
eSa me jIvitasyAnto rAmo yadyabhiSicyate । iti bruvANAM kaikeyIM zvazuro me sa mAnadaH ॥ 3-47-9
