अष्टभिस्सायकैस्सूतं रथोपस्थान्न्यपातयत् । रामश्चिच्छेद बाणेन ध्वजं चास्य समुच्छ्रितम् ॥ ३-२७-१५

Rama brought down the charioteer with eight arrows and with one tore down the lofty banner of the chariot to shreds. ॥ 3-27-15॥
