रक्षसां तु शतं रामः शतेनैकेन कर्णिना । सहस्रं च सहस्रेण जघान रणमूर्धनि ॥ ३-२६-३१

Rama killed a hundred demons with one hundred arrows by a single stroke. The same way he killed a thousand of them with a thousand arrows on the battle front. ॥ 3-26-31॥
