प्रावेशयद्यथान्यायं सत्कारार्हं सुसत्कृतम् । प्रविवेश ततो रामस्सीतया सहलक्ष्मणः ॥ ३-१२-१६

- and ushered him in with befitting hospitality. Then Rama along with Sita and Lakshmana entered . - ॥ 3-12-16॥

प्रशान्तहरिणाकीर्णमाश्रमं ह्यवलोकयन् । स तत्र ब्रह्मणः स्थानमग्नेः स्थानं तथैव च ॥ ३-१२-१७

- the hermitage, watching herds of quietly moving deer (undisturbed by their entry). There ( at the hermitage ) he ( saw ) the sanctus of Brahma, Fire-god - ॥ 3-12-17॥

prazAntahariNAkIrNamAzramaM hyavalokayan । sa tatra brahmaNaH sthAnamagneH sthAnaM tathaiva ca ॥ 3-12-17

विष्णोः स्थानं महेन्द्रस्य स्थानं चैव विवस्वतः । सोमस्थानं भगस्थानं स्थानं कौबेरमेव च ॥ ३-१२-१८

- Vishnu, Indra, Vivasvat - the Sun-god, Soma - the Moon-god, Bhaga - one among the twelve Suns, and the sanctusms of Kubera, ( Wealth-Management-god ) - ॥ 3-12-18॥

english translation

viSNoH sthAnaM mahendrasya sthAnaM caiva vivasvataH । somasthAnaM bhagasthAnaM sthAnaM kauberameva ca ॥ 3-12-18

दातुर्विधातुः स्थानेच वायोः स्थानं तथैव च । नागराजस्य च स्थानमनन्तस्य महात्मनः ॥ ३-१२-१९

- sanctums of Dhaata, Vidhaata - vedic deities created by Brahma to help svayambhuu Manu, sanctum of Vaayu - the air-god and also like that the sanctum of Ananta (great serpent-king) . - ॥ 3-12-19॥

dAturvidhAtuH sthAneca vAyoH sthAnaM tathaiva ca । nAgarAjasya ca sthAnamanantasya mahAtmanaH ॥ 3-12-19

स्थानं तथैव गायत्र्या वसूनां स्थानमेव च । स्थानं च पाशहस्तस्य वरुणस्य महात्मनः ॥ ३-१२-२०

- and the sanctum of Gayatri - the presiding deity of gnosis, sanctum of Vasus - eight of them and Pasahasta's (one who holds the noose in his hand to pull and punish the mortals), great Varuna - the rain-god - ॥ 3-12-20॥

sthAnaM tathaiva gAyatryA vasUnAM sthAnameva ca । sthAnaM ca pAzahastasya varuNasya mahAtmanaH ॥ 3-12-20
