तस्या रूपेण वेषेण शलक्ष्णया च तथा गिरा नाश्रद्दधत तां दासीम अन्नहेतॊर उपस्थिताम ।। ४-८-५ ।।

sanskrit

'But when the people beheld her beauty, her graceful bearing, and heard the sweetness of her speech, they found it hard to believe that she was merely a maid-servant seeking employment.' ।। 4-8-5 ।।

english translation

tasyA rUpeNa veSeNa zalakSNayA ca tathA girA nAzraddadhata tAM dAsIma annahetòra upasthitAma || 4-8-5 ||
