परिवार्यॊत्तरां तास तु राजपुत्रीम अलं कृताम सुताम इव महेन्द्रस्य पुरस्कृत्यॊपतस्थिरे ॥ ४-६७-३१ ॥
‘They all advanced together, leading Princess Uttara, exquisitely adorned in every ornament, and bearing the splendor and grace worthy of the daughter of Indra himself.’ ॥ 4-67-31 ॥

parivAryòttarAM tAsa tu rAjaputrIma alaM kRtAma sutAma iva mahendrasya puraskRtyòpatasthire ॥ 4-67-31 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतां परत्यगृह्णात कौन्तेयः सुतस्यार्थे धनंजयः सौभद्रस्यानवद्याङ्गीं विराट तनयां तदा ॥ ४-६७-३२ ॥
‘And then Dhananjaya, the son of Kunti, accepted the faultless and beautifully-formed daughter of King Virata on behalf of his son Abhimanyu, the son of Subhadra.’ ॥ 4-67-32 ॥

tAM paratyagRhNAta kaunteyaH sutasyArthe dhanaMjayaH saubhadrasyAnavadyAGgIM virATa tanayAM tadA ॥ 4-67-32 ॥

‘The great Yudhishthira, son of Kunti, who stood there like Indra himself, likewise accepted her as his daughter-in-law.’ ॥ 4-67-33 ॥

‘Having thus received her, the son of Pritha, with Janardana (Krishna) before him, presided over the nuptial ceremonies for the illustrious son of Subhadra.’ ॥ 4-67-34 ॥

‘And then King Virata bestowed upon him as dowry seven thousand swift steeds, two hundred elephants of the finest breed, and abundant wealth.’ ॥ 4-67-35 ॥
