आददानस्य हि शरान संधाय च विमुञ्चतः विकर्षतश च गाण्डीवं न किं चिद दृश्यते ऽनतरम ॥ ४-५७-१९ ॥
'The river of blood that Partha created was impassable. So swift and skilled was Arjuna that spectators could perceive no interval between his grasping an arrow, nocking it upon the bowstring, and loosing it with a sweep of the Gandiva.' ॥ 4-57-19 ॥
english translation
AdadAnasya hi zarAna saMdhAya ca vimuJcataH vikarSataza ca gANDIvaM na kiM cida dRzyate 'natarama ॥ 4-57-19 ॥
