[भीस्म] कलांशास तात युज्यन्ते मुहूर्ताश च दिनानि च अर्धमासाश च मासाश च नक्षत्राणि गरहास तथा ।। ४-४७-१ ।।

sanskrit

'Bhishma said, "O son, the fractions of an hour, the hours, the days, the fortnights, the months, and also the positions of the stars — all these are engaged or taken into account."' ।। 4-47-1 ।।

english translation

[bhIsma] kalAMzAsa tAta yujyante muhUrtAza ca dinAni ca ardhamAsAza ca mAsAza ca nakSatrANi garahAsa tathA || 4-47-1 ||
