कथैव कतमं युद्धं यस्मिन कृष्णा जिता तवया एकवस्त्रा सभां नीता दुष्टकर्मन रजस्वला ॥ ४-४५-११ ॥
'What you have truly done, O wicked one, is to drag that princess to court while she was ill and clad in but a single garment.' ॥ 4-45-11 ॥
english translation
मूलम एषां महत कृत्तं सारार्थी चन्दनं यथा कर्म कारयिथाः शूर तत्व किं विदुरॊ ऽबरवीत ॥ ४-४५-१२ ॥
'You have severed the delicate root of the Pandava tree, tender as sandalwood. Driven by greed for wealth, when you made the Pandavas slaves, do you remember the words of Vidura?' ॥ 4-45-12 ॥
english translation
यथाशक्ति मनुष्याणां शमम आलक्षयामहे अन्येषां चैव सत्त्वानाम अपि कीट पिपीलिके ॥ ४-४५-१३ ॥
'We observe that all beings—men, insects, and even ants—show patience and forgiveness according to their capacity.' ॥ 4-45-13 ॥

दरौपद्यास तं परिक्लेशं न कषन्तुं पाण्डवॊ ऽरहति दुःखाय धार्तराष्ट्राणां परादुर्भूतॊ धनंजयः ॥ ४-४५-१४ ॥
'Yet the son of Pandu is incapable of forgiving the sufferings of Draupadi. Surely, Dhananjaya has come to destroy the sons of Dhritarashtra.' ॥ 4-45-14 ॥

तवं पुनः पण्डितॊ भूत्वा वाचं वक्तुम इहेच्छसि वैरान्त करणॊ जिष्णुर न नः शेषं करिष्यति ॥ ४-४५-१५ ॥
'Wise though you may be in speech, Vibhatsu, the slayer of foes, will not fail to exterminate us all!' ॥ 4-45-15 ॥
