वयाकुलाश च दिशः सर्वा हृदयं वयथतीव मे धवजेन पिहिताः सर्वा दिशॊ न परतिभान्ति मे गाण्डीवस्य च शब्देन कौणौ मे बधिरी कृतौ ॥ ४-४१-१६ ॥
'My sense of direction is lost, and my heart is sorely troubled. The whole firmament seems to me shrouded by this banner, and all things are hidden from my sight. My ears, too, are deafened by the mighty twang of the Gandiva.' ॥ 4-41-16 ॥
