अम्लानॊ बलवाञ शूरश छायेवानपगः सदा सत्यवादी मृदुर दान्तः स राजवसतिं वसेत ॥ ४-४-३७ ॥
'He who is always cheerful and strong, brave and truthful, mild and self-controlled, and who follows his master like a shadow, alone deserves to dwell in a royal household.' ॥ 4-4-37 ॥
