वीराङ्गरूपाः पुरुषा नागराजकरॊपमाः नेमे जातु न युध्येरन्न इति मे धीयते मतिः ।। ४-३०-२१ ।।
'Bearing such martial forms, with arms like the trunks of mighty elephants, I cannot believe that they are incapable of battle, said the king..' ।। 4-30-21 ।।
'At the king's command, the charioteers, with cheerful hearts and full of loyal devotion, swiftly readied the chariots for the Pandavas.' ।। 4-30-23 ।।
कवचानि विचित्राणि दृढानि च मृदूनि च विराटः परादिशद यानि तेषाम अक्लिष्टकर्मणाम तान्य आमुच्य शरीरेषु दंशितास ते परंतपाः ।। ४-३०-२४ ।।
'And those repressers of foes then donned those splendid coats of mail—invulnerable, adorned, and easy to wear—that Virata had ordered for those spotless heroes.' ।। 4-30-24 ।।
'Indeed, those mighty warriors, masters of warfare—bulls among the Kurus, sons of Pandu, heroic brothers whose prowess none could withstand—ascended their gold-decked chariots and rode forth, following in the path of king Virata.' ।। 4-30-25 ।।
