सान्त्वयित्वा च मित्राणि बलं चाभाष्यतां सुखम सकॊश बलसंवृद्धः सम्यक सिद्धिम अवाप्स्यसि ।। ४-२८-१२ ।।

sanskrit

'Win over thy allies with kind words, and speak encouragingly to thy troops. With a strong treasury and a well-developed army, thou shalt surely attain complete success. ' ।। 4-28-12 ।।

sAntvayitvA ca mitrANi balaM cAbhASyatAM sukhama sakòza balasaMvRddhaH samyaka siddhima avApsyasi || 4-28-12 ||

यॊत्स्यसे चापि बलिभिर अरिभिः परत्युपस्थितैः अन्यैस तवं पाण्डवैर वापि हीनस्वबलवाहनैः ।। ४-२८-१३ ।।

'With such preparations, thou shalt be fit to face any strong adversary, let alone the sons of Pandu, who even now are without their own army or beasts of war.' ।। 4-28-13 ।।

'By following these time-honoured strategies in accordance with the duties of thy royal order, O best of men, thou shalt surely attain lasting prosperity in due course.' ।। 4-28-14 ।।
