सान्त्वयित्वा च मित्राणि बलं चाभाष्यतां सुखम सकॊश बलसंवृद्धः सम्यक सिद्धिम अवाप्स्यसि ॥ ४-२८-१२ ॥

'Win over thy allies with kind words, and speak encouragingly to thy troops. With a strong treasury and a well-developed army, thou shalt surely attain complete success. ' ॥ 4-28-12 ॥

'With such preparations, thou shalt be fit to face any strong adversary, let alone the sons of Pandu, who even now are without their own army or beasts of war.' ॥ 4-28-13 ॥
