पराक्रमं तु सूतानां मत्वा राजान्वमॊदत सैरन्ध्र्याः सूतपुत्रेण सह दाहं विशां पते ॥ ४-२२-८ ॥
'Thus addressed, King Virata—aware of the influence and power of the Sutas—gave his consent for Sairindhri to be burned along with the Suta’s son.' ॥ 4-22-8 ॥

parAkramaM tu sUtAnAM matvA rAjAnvamòdata sairandhryAH sUtaputreNa saha dAhaM vizAM pate ॥ 4-22-8 ॥
