ततॊ विराटम ऊचुस ते कीचकॊ ऽसयाः कृते हतः सहाद्यानेन दह्येत तदनुज्ञातुम अर्हसि ॥ ४-२२-७ ॥
'Then they turned to King Virata and said, ‘It is for her sake that Kichaka has met his end. Let him, therefore, be cremated along with her. It befits you to grant this permission.’' ॥ 4-22-7 ॥
